Posted by Benjamin in While DeLuca Homes, builder of the Toscana community, has not filed for bankruptcy protection, they have struggled to successfully market homes and condos in recent years.
Construction trade BUILDER reports that a federal court named Rouse Chamberlin Ltd., to maintain and sell the remaining properties in Toscana as part of a settlement with Wells Fargo, the financier of the project.
Meanwhile, the owners of DeLuca Enterprises will close their 40-year-old company to avoid filing for bankruptcy and to free up time to open a new home development company called DeLuca Homes.
